may 5, 2002, 2:55 p.m. - lovely, gorgeous weather. Mm.

I am the queen of losers.

Ok, I wanted to listen to the Mets on RealAudio. And I wanted to go outside and enjoy the sunlight. And I wanted to listen to the Mets. And I wanted to go outside. And I wanted to listen to the Mets.

Ah, these dilemmas of life.

So what did I do? Well of course, I did what any self-respecting loser would! I unhooked the 25-foot DSL cable from my laptop, threw it out of our second-floor window, and ran downstairs.

And of course, I put on sunscreen. I'm not a dumb loser.

Stop laughing.

So, I sat out on the grass with my laptop and, of course, since it was hooked up to the internet I had to be on my various instant messenging programs. Of course. So I chatted, despite the glare on the screen that made everything almost impossible to read. And I listened to the Mets. Yup.

Finally realized I was starting to burn despite my SPF 30 sunscreen and have returned to my room. Enjoying the lack of glare. mmm. Computers and sunlight don't mix. Nope.

Rabbuts like sunlight. And grass. And baseball.

And I like this skirt, despite the fact that my legs are (as always) blindingly white. Yay for those scottish genes.

Love,
Beth

And don't you feel The current mood of rabbut at www.imood.com today, too?
