Well, the first stage of my new layout is done--the index.html page. I still need to make my older.html page (which I'm actually going to change this time, I really am! No, I mean it!)
Other than that, though, isn't it keen? It was inspired by those lyrics I stuck up at the top of this entry--they're from the CD Blair gave me and I really like the mental image there. And so, yes, this is my new diary layout. For the time being. And I like it...I think I can stick with it for a while. I like seagulls, I like blue...it's one of my favorite colors.
I'm blue, da ba dee da ba dai...etcetera. Crap, now that's gonna be stuck in my head. Must run and put my Bruce Cockburn CD back on.

ok, much better. Back to sailing white birds.
Church tomorrow, work the day after, another week and then another $200. Huzzah.
I went guitar shopping with dad today. Torn between two really nice models. It looks like I will be able to get either a Taylor or a Martin, though, which I wasn't sure I would. Super grooviness. Mmm.
Alrighty, I'm off to bed now. I was up late getting this layout to look the way I wanted. Took me forever, and it's a hodgepodge of stolen and C&Ped html, all modified to fit my needs. I know that really pisses some people off, but for those of us without time, money, or inclination to buy books and tutorials on html...who happen to be good at picking things up as they go along...it's nice to be able to teach ourselves and pick and choose from what we like. This way I will now always know how to get the effect I want in frames.
Took forever. Rawr.

I still have a couple of things to work out in IE, but that should be done within the next couple of days. In the meantime, deal with that ugly light blue line that ain't where it's supposed to be. Night!
