So last night, I wrote two poems. It was awesome. I mean, they're nothing hugely special. Just from a poetry night exercise we did in which you used a random handful of magnetic poetry to create a poem in 60 seconds or less. The cool thing about it is that it forces you to find ways to express something without necessarily using the first words that spring to mind. It helps you to think outside the box, I guess.
So here is the one I like most.
only yesterday did my heart let pick
(no good to live with mud).
we was hot,
held
heartily.
imagine rain like rhythm:
picture this.
So yes. That was my triumph of the night.
Back to your regularly scheduled hormonal programming.
Love,
Beth
